HOW DO I JOIN?

Please fill out the questionnaire under the "Join Us" page. We also ask that you email us your resume and a piece of your writing from a class or professional event. These can be sent to thementorinitiative@gmail.com.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Any second semester Freshman through Senior in Concordia University's Batterman School of Business may participate in The Mentor Initiative.

DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE?

Yes, we ask that all people interested formally apply on our "Join Us" page and email us their resume and writings. We require this process so that we can serve students the best by tailoring their mentor and experience to their personal and professional interests.

HOW OFTEN DOES THE MENTOR INITIATIVE MEET?

The student group will meet with everyone together once at the beginning and end of the eight week program. This is to address expectations and experiences in The Mentor Initiative. Furthermore, we expect meetings between members and mentors to happen at least three times during the eight week program. Meetings may continue outside of program after eight weeks.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS?

The benefits of this program are numerous. Students gain real world and corporate setting experience from elite business leaders in Milwaukee. This experience has led to students in the program receiving internships from their mentor or companies connected with their mentor.

HOW DO I GET THE MOST OUT OF THIS PROGRAM?

Students looking to get the most out of this program should show up early to meetings, take great notes, ask important questions, and keep a positive and open mindset while learning from Milwaukee's sharpest businessmen and women.
